Mica products provide superior electrical insulation at temperatures where polymer-based materials fail. Our range covers flexible mica sheets, mica tape, and rigid mica tubes for demanding electrical and thermal applications.
Mica is a naturally occurring mineral with unique properties: outstanding dielectric strength, stability to temperatures up to 1000°C (phlogopite grade), zero moisture absorption, and excellent resistance to arcing and corona discharge.
Our flexible mica sheets are manufactured by reconstituting mica splittings into a uniform sheet, bonded with silicone or epoxy resin binders and reinforced with fibreglass or fibreglass cloth facing. They combine the inherent thermal and dielectric properties of mica with the workability needed for fabrication into complex insulation shapes.
Mica tape is slit from mica sheet and supplied on bobbins for machine application to transformer coils, motor windings, and cable insulation. Mica tubes are wound or formed for use as insulating sleeves in heating elements, spark plugs, and high-temperature industrial equipment.
Mica quality is defined by its splitting uniformity, absence of impurities, and consistency of the binder system. Our mica products are tested for dielectric strength, flexural strength, and heat resistance before dispatch.
We supply both phlogopite and muscovite grades in sheet, tape, and tube forms. Custom thicknesses and widths are available for OEM insulation requirements.
All mica products supplied by NaikGroup9 carries ISO 9001:2015, RoHS, REACH, and TÜV certification. Certificates of conformity are available on request and accompany all commercial shipments.
